It’s our brand new blog!
Welcome to this, the very first post on the very first Kingfisher blog! Here you’ll find everything from new additions to our menu, glimpses ‘behind the scenes’, chats with our suppliers and recipe tips, as well as news, views and general musings on all things fish and chips.
It’s fair to say the last twelve months as the UK’s No 1 Fish & Chip Shop have been a bit of a blur for us. We’ve covered thousands of miles, serving thousands of portions of fish and chips, proudly flying the flag for the nation’s favourite takeaway. The National Fish & Chip Awards rules state that no chippy may win the award in consecutive years so although sad that our reign has come to an end, we were delighted to hand over the trophy to the 2018 winners in January.
Now it’s time for us to use all we’ve learnt over the past year to help us continue to serve our customers the delicious sustainable fish and chips they’ve come to expect.
